Bloomfield Resources Achieves 90% Waste Recovery in First Year, Setting a New Standard for Sustainable Waste Management

Within its first year of trading, Bloomfield Resources has achieved an exceptional environmental milestone, successfully recovering and recycling 90 percent of all waste generated by its customers, with only 10 percent sent to landfill. This accomplishment demonstrates a clear and measurable commitment to responsible waste management and environmental sustainability from the very beginning of the company’s operations.

This strong performance has been made possible through early investment in efficient waste handling processes, advanced sorting practices, and a clear focus on maximising material recovery. By prioritising sustainable solutions over disposal, Bloomfield Resources has established a foundation built on environmental responsibility, operational efficiency, and long term thinking.

Reducing landfill reliance is not only beneficial for the environment but also supports wider sustainability goals by conserving natural resources, lowering carbon emissions, and promoting a circular approach to waste. Bloomfield Resources recognises that effective waste management plays a critical role in protecting ecosystems and supporting a cleaner future for communities and businesses alike.

Looking ahead, the company remains firmly focused on continuous improvement. Bloomfield Resources is committed to reducing the volume of waste sent to landfill year on year, with the long term objective of maximising reuse and recycling wherever possible. By further strengthening recovery rates, the company aims to minimise environmental impact while helping customers meet their own sustainability targets.

To support this vision, Bloomfield Resources plans continued investment in new processing facilities, enhanced infrastructure, and expanded material recovery capabilities. These developments will allow for more efficient sorting, increased recycling capacity and greater diversion of waste away from landfill.

Through innovation, investment, and a clear sustainability strategy, Bloomfield Resources is working towards a future where waste is treated as a valuable resource rather than a disposal challenge, helping to build a more sustainable, responsible, and environmentally conscious future for its customers and the wider community.
