The site has been selected to optimise transport links, reduce travel times, and improve overall logistics, enabling faster turnaround and greater operational efficiency. This improved infrastructure will allow us to manage increasing waste volumes while maintaining high service standards and regulatory compliance.
The new MRF plant will utilise advanced mechanical separation and automated sorting technology to improve recovery rates across multiple recyclable streams. The system is designed to increase material purity, reduce contamination, and minimise residual waste. With scalability built into the design, the facility will be capable of handling increased tonnage, adapting to new waste streams, and integrating future technological upgrades.
The Transfer Station will streamline waste intake, bulk handling, and onward transportation, significantly improving operational flow and reducing turnaround times.
